The Land

A great wine is born from its land

The Zinto estate lies in an area deeply devoted to winegrowing, on the Collalbrigo hills bordering San Pietro di Feletto, at the centre of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG.

World Heritage

The Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene

Since 2019 the Prosecco Hills have been a UNESCO World Heritage site: a unique landscape of hogback vineyards, villages and woods the world envies us. To farm here is a privilege and a responsibility.

Four hillsides

Each exposure, a character

The estate unfolds across four hillsides with different solar exposures: morning, midday, marked day-night temperature range, and afternoon. Different exposures give the Glera grapes different traits, and each vineyard its own wine.

I

Morning exposure

The gentle early sun: freshness and delicate aromas.

II

Midday exposure

Full light for complete, balanced ripening.

III

Temperature range

Cool nights and warm days: intense aromas and lively acidity.

IV

Afternoon exposure

The warm setting sun: structure and softness.

Biodiversity

Woods that protect the vines

We preserve the native woods as natural protection for the vineyards: a conservative choice that fosters biodiversity and the balance of the ecosystem. Our commitment is Biodiversity Friend certified.
