Cookie Policy
This notice describes the use of cookies and similar tools on zintowine.com, in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), art. 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 and the Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority on 10 June 2021.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites send to the user's device, where they are stored and sent back to the same websites on subsequent visits. Similar tools, such as identifiers stored in the browser's local storage, fall under the same rules.
A distinction is made between technical cookies, which are necessary for the website to work and require no consent, and profiling cookies, which track the user's browsing for advertising purposes and may be used only with prior consent.
2. Tools used by this website
This website uses no first-party profiling cookies and no analytics or advertising tracking tools. The only tools used are:
- ·Technical storage of the cookie choice: the preference expressed through the banner (acceptance or refusal) is saved in the browser's local storage for up to 6 months, for the sole purpose of not showing the banner again on every visit. This is a technical tool that requires no consent.
- ·Google Maps (third party, upon consent): the Contact page features a map provided by Google Ireland Limited. The map is blocked by default and only loads after the user accepts via the banner or the dedicated button. Once loaded, Google may set its own cookies and process data according to its own policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy.
3. Fonts
The typefaces used by this website are hosted directly on the website's own servers (self-hosting): displaying the pages involves no connection to Google Fonts servers and no transmission of data to third parties.
4. Managing consent
On the first visit, a banner allows users to accept or refuse third-party content through buttons of equal prominence, as required by the Authority's Guidelines. If refused, the website remains fully usable: a placeholder is simply shown instead of the map.
The choice can be changed at any time through the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer of every page, which reopens the banner, or by clearing the browser's site data.
Cookies can also be managed or deleted through the browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and, for Google cookies, through the tools available at myaccount.google.com.
5. Data controller
Società Agricola Da Lozzo Romeo ed Enrico s.s., Via Guizza, 93/A, 31015 Collalbrigo di Conegliano (TV), Italy, VAT no. 04217610262, email info@zintowine.it.
For all information on the processing of personal data and on data subjects' rights, please refer to the Privacy Policy.
6. Updates
This notice may be updated if the tools used by the website or the applicable law change. Updates will be published on this page.
